Derrick started singing when he was a mere lad of 16. That band MOTHERS WORRY, was also the first band he recorded with.

Derrick is a natural singer and musician. Originally hailing from Milwaukee, he was always a sought after front man. His energy and talent together made him irresistible to audiences. He was always in great demand and has logged over a million hours on stage.

So how did Derrick become an "A list" Chicago singer?

"One day", he explains, "While living in Milwaukee, I was called by a music producer to sing a commercial jingle. It went great and it was a lot of fun. I already knew I loved studio singing, but now I was getting paid to do it!"
